Could you share a gist of the console's output in case we can spot something?

    18. and this is what i have when i succeed in importing

everything above is normal, just like the bad import,  but the form data is full of information about the vm.

i also don't see anything in the oned. when i have a good import, i see the data about it. but when i don't have an import, there is no new data there. i've tested fresh after cleaning the file.

also, when i have a good import, i have a 1.log or 2.log and so on, with some of the vm information. when i have a bad import, i have a file but it's blank

some more data

in some vms, changing the name of the vm on the vcenter side works. it's allowing me to import the vm. and some does not

ok. i have a workaround but it looks like a bug. when i change the name to something very simple like "testvm", i can always import. after the import, i'm renaming the vm and all is good.

We've checked importing a VM named "Server 2012R2 - Cluster" successfully.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, we can rule the import procedure since it works in the CLI, this is front-end issue.
