add new and resize existing Virtual Disk

It would be great if users can add new and resize existing Virtual Disk.

Thanks for your feature request. We will take it into account for future releases:

I just wanted to second this. It seems like resizing disks is in a different more complex place in the api to control Vcenter. The really technical commercial products like Onapp and AirVM have it, but others I have seen including this project don't appear to have that level of sophistication, at least not yet. I think it is a critical feature as it is one of the main things a vcenter admin does on a daily basis. If you can't give people this control, it is a huge limitation.

Yes, i'm waiting for this also.

We'd go into production with vonecloud when users could resize all critical resources (CPU/RAM/HDD).

The current approach we are following is to still treat VMs as black boxes from vOneCloud, with the ability to attach/detach new disks (but not the existing ones).

Resizing unfortunately is currently not in the short term roadmap.

Hello,

did this mindset change in the last 8 month?

We are planning to use vonecloud / opennebula with vcenter and for us it would be a very important feature for the customers to have the ability to rezize (increase) the existing harddisks for the virtual machines. Only attaching new disks is not really user-friendly.

best regards,

Dirk

Yes, there should be some kind of automation behind the scenes.
