vOneCloud 1.2 not importing existing VMs

Upon adding the vCenter, all the other attributes (hosts, networks, templates) are imported, but 'Running VMs' just says 'no new running VMs to be imported'.

Any ideas? This vCenter instance has got ~100 existing VMs

Running VMs are only shown when the vCenter is imported as a vOneCloud host. Click on the create host button again, input the data of the vCenter you already imported and running VMs should be populated now, the process is described here:

http://docs.vonecloud.com/1.2/simple_cloud_deployment/import_vcenter.html#optional-step-3-import-vcenter-running-virtual-machines-reacquire-vm-templates-and-networks

If you already done this, please let us know to further investigate this issue.

Ah yes, that was the issue. I'd read the documentation, but it wasn't immediately clear.

You are right, it is not a intuitive process. We will improve on that for the next release.

Thanks for your feedback!
